Hi all, might not be right place to post this.
I have a prosimu 1000 3dof motion rig. It has scn6 200 actuators. Problem im having is after swapping out the chassis with an aluminum extrusion chassis the front right actuator continues to turn off after a few mins. I have switched it out with a known good actuator from left side and same problem. Switched the servo amplifier and same problem. Servo turns red/green after a few minutes and motion stops from that side. Ive reinstalled sim tools to no avail. Is this somehow a weight induced problem from new chassis? That side is slightly heavier with gear shifter but cant be by much. Left side never stops working. I have also tried several different usb ports. Same result. Is there something else im missing? Ive had this rig for at least five yrs. Never a problem till chassis swap. Gotta be weight then? Just strange that the left front never fails if its a weight issue? Thanks for any help

Are there any sound warning or text error messages?

Actually they are scn6 100 not 200. My mistake in original post

It could be weight, does it happen without you on board?

To end this post if anyone has a problem like mine. Turns out it was weight problem. I moved the new chassis further toward back of prosimu base and problem resolved instantly.

I'm having this same problem on my Prosimu T1000 Ddof motion rig right now. The right front actuator will drop down and stop working after a few minutes of racing.
My cockpit is alum extrusions custom built with a Corbeau race bucket, so I'm assuming its fairly light.
However the way I have it built into the motion platform it's currently all the way forward. After seeing this thread i'm thinking maybe my issue is the same as yours?

Did you find that your actuators atleast the 2 front moved slowly up but fast down? The extend/upward direction on mine seem to be at half speed, compared to how fast they can drop in test mode.

I fixed my rig issues, which was that it would go dead after a minute, was by moving my cockpit back further on the motion platform. Thanks!
