    may work but why is st2 not detecting "running game" if spacemonkey is started ? i jsut want to use it for another game as well ..mechwarrior 5 ! but no luch to get it to "game running" ....WHY :((((((

    i just need the information how to get ST2 recognize Spacemonkey ... :(

    You maybe haven't done everything correctly? Have you followed the instructions in the PDF? have you selected defaultPacketFormat instead of codemasters extradata3, are you sure you have specified the correct port (believe it's 10001, but you will need to verify it).

    i checked your manual again .. and its not working simtools wont switch to "game running"

    i do all the things in the manual. but its Spacemonkey 1.1.1 today AND its wreckfest 64bit what spacemonkey needs. but ST dont want to go "online" see screenshots[​IMG][​IMG]

    SimTools V3 is in opeen Beta testing, it is not yet released and these are the plugins currently available, other are being ported as time permits: https://simtools.us/plugin_library/

    SimTools V2 plugins, of which Wreckfest is one, are not compatible with V3.

    You can run V2 and V3 on the same machine with the same license, as long as you don't try and run them at the same time.

    I know that noorbeast. I spent time to understand how simtools works and i setup both v2 and v3. I would prefer to use v3 only of course because it is all in one.
    I was asking to MatteKarla for his homemade plugin. It is a great project if it will run the game by itself and works with v3!

    Looks like bugbear has released a new version of Wreckfest, I tried to update the pointers to the new offsets and it appears to be working again with SimTools3.

    I'm not playing wreckfest nowdays, since it doesn't have VR support. hoping Wreckfest2 will have VR.

    Drag the plugin to SimTools3 to install it. Lower profile intensity in SimTools to about 15 (by clicking the waves, then adjusting the slider down right).

    Unzip WreckfestReader to a folder, double click the file WreckfestReader.Exe, then it should be just starting the game. (use version 1.0.1)

    You should use Wreckfest 64-bit.

    • Detects game running.
    • Automatically detects and attaches to send telemetry when you start a new race.
    • Works with multiplayer (by figuring out your name the telemetry provider can figure out what index you have and load telemetry for the correct player).
    • Also sends "basic telemetry" to SimHub when using buttkickers (udp port 20777, in format CodeMasters Extra Data 3, use Dirt2 for example)
    There could be a delay before motion starts, since the reader detects race running and then scans memory for telemetry.
