    Hi, i have a SimXperience accumotion controller that i'd like to control with Simtool to get more control over the motors. The board has four connectors outputs, however it only came with 2 motors which you plug in connector 1 and 2. if i can get more out of the board and run 2 more motors from connector 3 and 4 that would be nice. however just getting SimTools to work with the controller on the two motors is good enough.

    right now there is very limited control over the motors and as a result the profile's they setup do not rally match Flight characteristic. not shocking given they are mainly into racing.

    So i'd like to create my own custom experience effect

    where is what i tried.
    -> i used a fee version of Simtool to setup an interface
    -> i picked port 4 which is the only one shown available to pick from.
    -> Asigned Axis ID Axis1A , set speed and accelerator
    -> saved then tried testing

    nothing happens so i'm not sure what is going on.

    well after a good read, i still can't get it to work. maybe its down to the actuator # being off.
    however the link in the post don't work anymore to reprogram the actuators

    any other idea?

    An ID can always be changed back, just take note of whatever is the current configuration.

    thanks,
    I'll take a look at this further this weekend. on a different note, looking at the motors for this they look nothing like the SCN type stepper. the encoder on the back is round and there is a gearbox on the front. i'm wondering if these might be a different Motor for the Gbelt instead and maybe that's my problem. Have you heard of SimXperience only using SCN or is there a possibility for a then to have used a different motor?
