    Hello everyone,
I made a 6DOF based on Peacemakers build, But after I finished the build some actuators was so noisy and not the normal kind of noise, I greased the ball screw and replaced the FK12 bearing, but the noise was still there, and it coming from the area near the FK12 bearing and the motor coupler.

Any ideas on what's causing it and how to fix it? Any help is appreciated

    Thanks

Hey, you have to put little grease on the red rubber connector of your coupling. Its best to disassemble it an put a tiny amount of a suitable grease (!) on the contact surfaces!
    Good luck!
It took me two years and Llots of actuators disassembling before I could believe such a noise is comming from such a small part!

Thanks for replying, I ordered some silicone grease, I will grease the coupling and get back to you with the results.

OMG It worked, all that noise was from the coupling, after I greased it the noise was gone.
Thank you so much for your help.
