Giving up is a legitimate option.

That said, the reality is that many other members have been able to patch DCS for motion under SimTools 2, which suggest the issue is perhaps not understood but likely bound to your particular circumstances/hardware/configuration.

Fortunately there is more than one DCS plugin for SimTools, so please try alternatives: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...bat-simulator-dcs-experimental-plug-in.13921/

Also be aware of potential DCS specific gotchas: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...experimental-plug-in.13921/page-3#post-227046

See your PM notification, you are now good to go to try the alternate plugin, as a means to help figure out what specific issues are at play.

As you guys keep telling me persistence pays off . I am now up and running not entirely sure what I did to fix things apart from uninstalling everything and reloading it but what ever it was we are now working and moving, on to the fine tuning stage . Thanks again for all your help.

Thanks to you guys I am having a ball now all is working but I am looking at adding a seat belt tensioner. I am using an arduino uno and 3 ibt2 controllers to run my 3 motors so how would I add another movement to my existing setup.

Use another arduino and controller(s), that can then be added to and configured in SimTools.

Are there any wiring diagrams available showing how to do this ?

Wiring is exactly the same process as the first Arduino, what is different is the port that will be assigned to the new Arduino when it is plugged it, which is used to configure it in SMC3 and SimTools.
