    I have not used them before, but based on my design requirement, they are doing well, no skipping or grinding sound, they seem to handling okay. As far as longevity is concerned, only time will tell.
    Similar size servo have been used by other diyers for similar applications, so I'm willing to risk it, it is after all only a toy that I'm building .
    If it ends up destroyed, I will let the forum know about the outcome.

    So in case you would use 60 kgr servos instead of 30 kgr servos you should take 6 pieces instead of 12 , the half of them?

    Yes, For sure, the more powerful servos would be a better choice, I chose the 30kg ones because they would arrive earlier than the 60 kg.

    what i mean is that if i would like to follow your project then i would be in need of 6 pieces of 60 kgr servos instead of 12 pieces of 30 kgr servos. Is that right?

    My 3d printed part are @ JLC pcb for printing, it will only arrive after the Christmas rush. I did one print check the fit and function of the servos and wiring. Everything fits snuggly and the wiring is hidden from view.
    I have been busy with a ottoman style enclosure for my whole rig.

    To be honest my wife is very happy to have everything out of site. (I made it a bit tooo big, 1200X800X600.... It's huge. It will be modified too 1200X600X600, which will allow it to move through my doorways.

    To qualify for a free license:

    • You must be building a true DIY motion simulator. (Not built from a kit or purchased from a simulator seller, a model simulator does not qualify.)
    • Have a unique build thread or Showcase in DIY Simulator Projects. (The thread should show some effort, which means it should show progress to the rig testing phase.)
    • Have been a member of the community for at least 30 days.

    All criteria must be met prior to making application, including your build thread showing progress to the rig completion, ready for the testing phase.

    I have made quite a bit of progress with my DIY G Seat. I have changed the layout of the servos and air bladders, chose to place everything underneath my seat(all fixed to a plywood board)

    The wiring on the servo are warm to the touch, I think I need to upgrade my wiring and redesign the bladder actuating mechanism to increase the leverage effect. I will design and implement some changes during my annual vacation.

    I am having a hard time with my pitch and surge axis assignments in Sim Tools, I seem to be losing a lot of fidelity, can anyone share a baseline settings for me to use as a reference. I added 2 pictures of my air blabber and servo setup, 2 bladders are used for traction loss left and right they are places in the lower back area of my playseat and the 1 is used for surge and pitch this is on the upper back area the last air bladder is used to heave and pitch which is located under my thighs towards the front for the seat cushion.
    So far, the air bladders are working great, the movement is very strong and fast. I chose to use the larger rectangular air bladders as the masters and the smaller square bladders as the slaves, this help to accelerate and increase the movement a lot, also I am using 8mm pneumatic air hose and push on connectors which further reduce the air restrictions. Placing the air bladders strategically helps so much as you can only move so much weight with the 35kg servo and air bladder combo, after a lot of testing (and dead servos )the current positions are optimal for my design.
    My only headache now is the fine tuning of my sim tools settings to get the most out of this DIY G Seat.
    I changed from using 4 servo per air bladder to only 1 servo per bladder and honestly with this design, my servos are not even warm after a full 2 hour drifting session in Assetto Corsa. As opposed to the previous setup, the 4 servos where not perfectly synchronized and seem to fight each other which results in them getting so hot, the PLA mount melted and deformed. (Check the pictures of the melting/deformation of the 3d printed servo mount.)In this case less is more!

    I did a min/max capture on Monza with a Honda Civic turbo to get the base values for min/max . I will post my settings after work today.
