    Not really a DIY build but it is my first one so kinda counts.

    450mm stroke (400mm useable) 500mm/sec but capped at 350mm in all test videos (removed acceleration/deceleration) for testing.

    M221 PLC (4 in total, each controlling 2 axis over PTO @100KHZ) for 6DOF and 2 x Force Feedback

    Custom HMI Touch Screen with dedicated profiles for individual games.

    LEXIUM 28A 1.5KW Servo Dive/Motors with 20Bit Envoder

    Modbus TCP/IP between distributed PLCs and HMI

    Ascii serial between PC and PLCs using Simtools V3

    1 year hobby project from initial programming to finished project.

    3 Months to get a platform moving.

    9 additional Months to get it moving well.

    Bent all original heim joints on first run on NL2

    Snapped upgraded chromoly heim joint (just the one) on second run

    Learnt a lot.

    Re-engineered base size, base mounts and heim spacers to resolve multiple issues/mistakes.

    Implemented differential logic on plcs to resolve underlying issues.

    Runs well.

    Cannot load videos ???

    Predominately for flight and arcade (cannot wait for Galitic Racer).
