    Hi Historiker,
    Thanks for the welcome.
No. I have not yet done anything with DCS. I know they have the Bell UH-1H sim module. I would like to finish my present project with MS FSX before trying other Sims.
Which one are you using? Have you built a motion Sim?
    BR,

    "Hello everyone
    I'm new in this forum.
I built a 1:1 scale 737 cockpit with all the electronica working, I miss learn and see what chance I have to simulate the movement of my cabin

No worries, first, please start a new thread here http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/ ,
    Parts suggested,
    pololu JRK 12v12 x 2 http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1393
Big worm gear motors http://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-drive-motor-12v-24v-200w-180-rpm-20nm-torque.html forget wipers, slow and they tend to fail after a while
    Pots for feedback 5kohm x 2
And you can use 1 pc as long as it is decent quad core, 4 gig min ram, good graphics card. Any further questions for design or other, please start a new thread.
    Cheers, David.

    Hello,
I've been reading this site for some time now and decided to start building a simulator ausar pair with Flight Simulator X. I have knowledge of analog and digital electronics and also some knowledge of mechanics. Studying various posts in this community I decided on a project based on Arduino. I live in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.

I would like to thank those who keep this community.

My initial project will be a 2dof with viper motors, and then I shall begin construction of my dream that is a complete system for FS X.

You'll be informed about the progress so, thank you all!

    Hello friends,

I am new to this forum, although I had registered for a while had not come until today, I find the news of a new simulation software, I'm just in the process of build me one so I'll try with this one, for now I will try to build a 3DOFsimulator with arduino and power board for motor control and will include the yaw axis.
I have enough knowledge in electronics and electricity but not many in programming.

    Im from Chile

If you are not sure of programming, then I suggest the Pololu JRK 12v12, one per motor, no code programming needed, just PID , motor power settings of which we can advise on. Good thing about jRK is it is "all in one", hbridge, microcontroller, feedback. One board per motor.

Hi everyone. My name is Bryan. I apologize for being rude and not introducing myself earlier. I had other issues that I was trying to help resolve here that took up my time for a while.

I hope you long timers on this site don’t mind another one joining in to help out. I’ve followed many of your post here over the past couple of years so I feel like I know some of you already. And I share a brotherhood with those members who shared an unwanted opinion at that other site and got the boot! You don’t know me from there though because I only lasted 5 minutes, lol. The “knucklehead” over there was online when I posted my first response and he didn’t want to hear an honest opinion about why I thought some people weren't breaking in the doors to migrate to…. , well you know. One word describes it, “Immature”!

But you guys here are great people and this site has a different “attitude”! It was this “attitude” that eventually made me want to join in with you and contribute as you all have so unselfishly done also! And this is an exciting time with SimTools being publicly released! So what better time than now to become a member! Thanks Yobuddy, the rest of the team, and the other helpful members here that contribute!

Oh yea, and great job with the website RaceRay!

If you are not confident in programming control boards, use these http://www.pololu.com/product/1393/ , one per motor, 7 wires , NO CODE TO WRITE, one usb cable per board, heatsink on big chip with fan cooling, done , 13.8v at 30 amps continuous all day.

HI Guys Deadman here I have been recommended this site by a fellow simmer over on the Ed forms . I have recently acquired an older cockpit simulator and am trying to the fore feed back or resistance system for the stick and rudder pedals working. I have id the 3 Torque motors but the manufacture will not release any information on the units I will need to find out how to determine the required voltage for the system. I have very little experiance with control or the electronics to git this working I don't even know where to start .
I have posted photos and descriptions all ready here If any one could help me out getting this system working it would be greatly appreciated Thanks

What a nice compliment and kind words. Thats more worth than any money and it shows the complete team that we all are on a good and right way with our project.
Thanks so much Bryan. I give you a big "official" WELCOME MATE :)

The same goes to you Markus. Seems that @value1 gets support from a fellow-countryman.

Btw. I really like your profile picture;)
