It looks like you missed the change to baud rate that was made in v0.6 and above. SMC3 now runs at 500k baud. If you set Simtools to 500k baud then the game engine should connect to the Arduino. (Make sure you shutdown windows SMC3utils first as only one program can use the comm port at a time)

I see in one of the screenshots you are trying to use UDP pass thru mode....

Please note: Simtools can control the Arduino either directly via the comm port (normal setup) OR indirectly via SMC3Utils using a Network UDP port (UDP pass Thru) - this is because only one program can use the comm port at a time.

To use UDP mode you have to disable the comm port in Simtools and setup a Network UDP interface instead.

how to set Simtools to 500k transmission?

    RufusDufus okay?
Apply to transmission over 500k is not safe!
When I open the Simtools applicable to Bits blank.

And also in (Amount of Axis To Use) engines begin to move starting from 43%! and have as few movements in roll and pitch. why?

Don't you have an option for 500000 baud? I think it was added to one of the more recent versions of Simtools, are you running the latest version?

From the chart it looks like you have the PID tuned up quite well.

Version 1.1 will give you access to these higher baud rates.

Yes 500000 contains the option to apply but does not get saved!

yeah I'm with simtools version 1.1!
50000 braud apply but is not saved.
When I close and open again the game engine the brand is no longer with the value applied to it.
    It's not like I'm saved!
this value is compatible with the Arduino unoR3?

Ok just tested mine and changed the baud rate to 500000 saved , and exited the game engine totally, and reloaded it and presto the baud rate was blank.

Could someone else please confirm this too. You might have a bug that you can report to Yobuddy, bugger.

Error fixed! Will be in next release!
    Nice bug find! @Claudemir

    What was the problem?
The combobox contained "500000 " with a space.
It saved as "500000" without the space.
It then could not match "500000" to "500000 " because of the space.
    Space Removed!

continue with the same problem as post # 58!
The engines do not simulate braking and reacceleration.
Roll and Pitch are moving to late. is it my settings?
You would have a SMC3utils, simtools configured so that I can test?
So I know if I have something wrong with my settings or my computer.
For what I perceive is a delay in responses exp: the motors only comessam to move when I leave the confines of the box.
But only make lateral movements of strength G (LR)

Please post your Axis Assignments for the game and you interface settings.
2 screen shots would be great!

@Claudemir, In addition to posting the screenshots as requested by yobuddy, I would also suggest keeping things as simple as possible to start with. Once you have used Windows SMC3Utils to setup the motor parameters, shut it down and don't use it again until you have a basic setup working with Simtools talking directly to the Arduino SMC3 via the comm port.

Once you have this working you can add Windows SMC3Utils back in the mix. :cheers

É com grande inclinação, não é?
    E com movimentos bruscos!
    Onde posso melhorar esta configuração?

Hi Claudemir, It looks like you have all of the basics working well. Great work!

You can adjust the amount of movement (slope) by changing the values in the Simtools tuning center - right click on the Simtools Game Engine icon in the windows tray and select game engine.

if you REDUCE the values here the motion will INCREASE.
if you INCREASE the values the motion will DECREASE.

As a start try doubling the values you have - but basically it comes down to whatever result you like best.

There is more about the tuning center in the Simtools manual.

As a final note, I think you may get smoother motion if you increase PWMmax a bit with Windows SMC3Utils. Also reduce the deadzone setting as much as you can.

Good morning guys! I'm ready to ride my simulator!
    My doubts!
Which source to buy my simulator?
My motors are 24v, at first I only have 2 but I want to use but three hours.
A stabilizing source with 24v 30A is enough?

What is the stall amps for your motor, a single power supply needs to be at least equal to twice that for 2 motors.
Plus make sure it has an internal fan , helps for long use.
