Guess I´ll have to get myself an oculus then. :thumbs
Yeah pacenotes are vital! :) 3d vision would help getting a more exact feel for the corners though, especially the long ones that are tightening at the end.

That´s a wild ride indeed! Got the motion sorted out yet?

left foot, right foot, both feet, as long as the car slows/stops in game......

EDIT, I left foot brake on dual racers with DFGT pedals and right foot brake with sim with G27

@Rainer Yeah im getting the motion better but its hard work to get it to feel just right in RBR, it feels much more comfortable in AC and in GRID but I will get there.

@bsft I have no idea what my feet are doing at times lol I want to left brake but get it wrong so use my right but then try again with the left lol all good fun :)

@Rainer I finally managed to complete the 33km stage. It was so hard I was sweating and exhausted by the time I had finished. What a beast car that is its so powerful.

    Hope you enjoy.

I enjoyed it indeed! Had a great time watching your video. Keep em coming!
Group B and this stage is pure rally nirvana to me.
Love that you chose the oh so forgiving and easy to drive S1! :grin

Damn it! This video made me want to order the oculus even more!
I´ll try and make a video of my own once I get my motion rig up and running.
Haven´t started building it yet though but I´m only lacking the lazy susan now. All other parts I´ve got.
BTW what program do you use to create videos?

@Rainer I use bandicam to do the videos. You can get a free version that leaves a water mark on the videos but I just paid the £20 or whatver it is as I think its worth it. There are others out there im sure.

Do you have a harness fitted (cannot tell - doesn't look like it)? With all that movement, you would be partly supporting yourself via the steering column (As you do in a real car). Not surprising then that it ended up snapping off. I would recommend fitting a harness as it can do two things - stops you fighting the movement (which is something the body will naturally do) and reducing the load on the steering/control column area. My friends often don't fit the harness and although my steering column is up to the job, often they end up with the steering wheel in their hands (I just use the standard G27 hold system) so there is obviously allot of force being produce.

Yes @SeatTime i do have a harness fitted but I dont wear it for ED as its not throwing me around as much as car games or the roller coaster. But you are right in car games I was gripping on to the steering wheel way too much, putting a hell of a strain on it.

    Its only a 15min fix
