Well that just great. They've done an update already so i can't get the plugin to work with the main game.
It still works with the single player combat as thats not been updated.
Feels cool in the combat part though.
And a heads up to anyone else going to use this. The actual game exe (for mine at least) is in the user/local folder.
I was trying to patch the front end launcher first.

Nice one. Though I'd imagine there will be quite few more updates.
I mean it's only been out 2 days and it's had 2 updates already.
You'll have your work cut out for you keeping up with this one
    Thanks again anyway.

This plugin now provides pitch speed and roll speed, surge, sway and heave :)

I don't think, pitch, roll and yaw (angles) make a lot of sense, as in space there is no difference anyway. I mean, it doesn't matter if you're "upright" or "headfirst". I have added pitch and roll speed only.
Also I don't think, yaw (speed) makes a lot of sense. I think there is no control for yaw in the game anyway.
Let me know your thoughts, please

@value1 I'll try it out later. All sounds exactly correct what you said. Its totally different for motion in space.
The angle movement felt odd as the ship snapped back when you let off the stick.
Still made it feel good though.

Just had a go with update. I'm 2dof and have set smoothing on all effects to about 50%. Once I got it dialed in nicely it feels great. Much better with pitch/roll speed than angle. And the smoothing makes it feel like a more sustained g-force rather than the jerkyness without it. As in it doesn't jerk back to centre.
Great stuff. Hope you can keep up with the updates. :grin

One question. When I update the plugin does it wipe out my axis assignment settings. I'll write them down if it does now i have it feeling good.

Version 1.3 of SimTools asks, if the MaxMin file shall be overwritten or not. If you have defined these minimum and maximum values in the Tuning Centre, you better say no.
    Confirm.png
The MaxMin values do not affect the axis settings.
Nevertheless it might be a good idea to note them down anyway. You never now, what happens next…

Excellent, so does the pitch, roll and yaw speed work off a change in speed? Would like to give it a go, but at the moment I have moved some parts of my sim over to another for testing.

Yeah. When you move the stick slowly the motion moves a bit. If you move it quickly it moves a lot. Seems perfect for space where you can have a continuous movement in one direction

Hi @value1 - thank you SO MUCH for developing and updating this plugin so quickly. I built my 2DOF chair specifically for ED and was stoked to see a plugin developed so quickly after it was launched - great job!
