Can you also post video of the JRK graph viewer, I'm curious how those lines are lining up with that PID?
Are those videos with load on or off?

Testing the new version of the 2DOF simulator under Project CARS.

    controllers
    - JRK Pololu 12v12

    actuators
    - DC motors 12 V 3200 rpm coupled with 60: 1 gearboxes (torque of 36 Nm)
    - ButtKickers mini LFE (2 fronts and 2 rears)

    effects felt:
    - Acceleration / braking
    - Left / right turn
    - Passing on the grass / gravel
    - Passing over the curbs
    - Engine vibration

Some effects are barely noticeabled on the video but are really felt once installed in the bucket seat (engine vibration, shocks, passing over the grass, crossing curbs ...).
Some settings have still to be improved but overall I am very satisfied with the result!

Awesome! Like the setup very much!

I know every sim is different, but would you mind pasting a screenshot of your Axis assignment and also your Max/Min in Tuning Centre?

You have a lot movement in Surge / Pitch, so I'm keen to see the settings. I struggle to get this force correct on my sim.

    Thank you.

I only use surge, sway and heave.

Interesting, to only use the forces on the axis. I can see the logic though as one will cancel out the other to some degree when bringing direction into the mix.

I like to feel the up and down of tracks, so will likely need to lose surge in favour of pitch.

Thank you for taking the time to share your settings. Merci

using pitch and surge is a balance. Yes you may loose some of one or the other, but its a balance, spend time working with each, then run them both and re-test

Some of you asked me a view from the rear of the cockpit in motion. Take a look at this video :

You can run SimTools and simulation games on the same PC @jimmytm3, there is an option to do it on 2 PC if people want to, but you don't need to.

Have a look at existing member builds for ideas and inspiration, it could well help you refine what you may like to do for your own project: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

There are some detailed builds in the following links:

    http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/sim-building-tutorials.48/

    http://www.xsimulator.net/category/diy-tutorials/

You will find the FAQ section covers some more specific topic areas, like types of simulators, designs and motors: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

If you are having a hard time understanding terms or acronyms the have a look at the Glossary of Acronyms and Names: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread.

On your thread do ask questions, there is a lot to take in but the community is good at giving tips during planning, reviewing purchase lists, giving feedback and encouragement during the build and providing advice on actually sorting out motion profiles.
