    @Silvano I have asked a number of times that you start your own thread and tell us something about your motion rig. It is impossible to offer assistance and troubleshoot for you without knowing what hardware and control boards are involved.

    Yep, it's easy, you need to set the two actuators on two different com ports, you can't set up both on the same port. You need to find out what com port number are associate with your usb converters.

    Italiano: non puoi mettere tutti e due gli attuatori nella stessa porta com, non può funzionare. Devi guardare nel device manager quali porte com sono associate alle due schede usb e usare quelle porte.

    @nclabs,
    Its com3, assigning axis1 is ok but for axis2 there is only [com1] to choose from the list. I have ONLY 1 USB converter for both actuators. thats the way it was working with LOGYKAL.

    non capisco piu niente, in inglese tu dici che 2 attuatori possono essere sul la stessa porta com, e in italiano tu dici che non puo funzionare. invece ha funzionato cosi per 2 anni con LOGYKAL.

    scusami ma ce un parradosso tra quel che dici in inglese e in italiano nel tuo messaggio:think

    Yes I did read that but it doesent help me, my bigest propblem is that both actuators are pluged to one USB converter, so basicaly they both have the same com port (3) and they have been working good since 2 years in that setup.
    The reason I want to change to SIMTOOLS is the lack of new plugins for LOGYKAL motion software.

    @Silvano Hai ragione, avevo dimenticato una "t" nella versione inglese. Per utilizzare SimTools hai bisogno di due schede USB (una per ogni attuatore) e regolare il software per funzionare su due com port diverse, altrimenti non può funzionare. C'è scritto anche nella guida se non sbaglio.

    English version: To run with SimTools you need one converter for each actuator, in this case two converters for two actuators, and then you set up the software for use two different com ports. It's written on the guide.

    Beh allora mi fermo qui perche non me la sento di fare quel trafico e non sono sicuro di fare che funziona :(
