:grin Thanks @Pit I'm glad I'm just in ... Who said it is going to be an easy win ? :cheers
And I guess It is still a concept and if you want me to go to the design mode ... Maybe I'll use sketchup then ... so everything is going to be really tweaked ...

Not so crazy @mazak515, here is my implementation of a similar idea for sustained surge using linear rails and 2 x 40kg servos: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/dx-racer-compact-simulator.5866/page-3#post-63007

    Hi!
I think this is new idea and i like to hear what you are thinking this way to do movement. I have a lot of good luck and i tested 3 differend kind of sim. www.simrac.com was cool but not movement enough. www.foracer.com/ is fast but i don't like the movement. www.motion-sim.cz/ was best of these but it need so much money to do.
The problem in 2dof is that it push you to wrong way when it moves. I mean that when you accelerate the seat moves back and after that you move that way. This model moves differend way. When car accelerate the seat moves front and lean back at the same time. same idea when moving side to side.

I made one proto out of wood without motors and it moves like it should be. But i'm not sure how to connect motors. Do you have idea for connecting the motors and how powerful they must be? model1.jpg model2.jpg

hi @mrbeginner where is the seat to be placed? BTW for better surge immersion I suggest to build a surge table.

Seat is going top of the outer box and those link rods are there for movement. When they are little wider on bottom the chair stables in the middle and turns little back, front and side to side when you move it.

I take rods out of the proto for my basic 2dof version. But i try to make some kind version where you can understand my idea. but basic idea is that the seat moving same way like the momo sponsored sim in front page video.
