    Thanks @speedy I can't do it myself but i'm sure I could find someone to do that for me. In terms of cost of parts for something like that not including labor, what do you think it would cost ? I'm trying to get an idea so i don't get ripped off when looking for someone to build it.

    I guess you can build a parts list in any electronics online order form like Farnell and see for yourself with the suitable currency and shipping .

    Awesome, thanks a ton both of you :) I'm currently working in building a model in sketchup and will post soon. Just trying to decide between rectangular or hexagonal base. I was thinking maybe something like so for the base but rectangular like yours for the top ?

    Joe,
    IMHO, the hex base will let you get the motors/gearheads angled closer which would give you a smaller footprint & again, IMHO, feel the need for a custom spring would be eliminated...........
    AND the fact you have purchased hi hp motors and heavy duty gearheads.
