    My Motion Simulator:
2DOF, DC motor, Arduino, Motion platform
Hi, i would show with everyone, my simulation system with 2 degrees of freedom. I use two motor with 1800rpm and 1,3 Nm with 12v; then i buy two gearbox 40:1.
I regard the person who wrote the tutorial for assembly two motormonsters for 60A continuos and 120A peack, because that tutorial is very important for me for the construction.
As suggest from the forum i bought an arduino one r3, and 10 m of bosh profiles.
For the system druve i bought a trustmaser t500rs; and finnaly a sparco carbon seat to reduce the heavy. This forum was very very interesting for the moviment particulars' and a grat thanks for the user that wrote the SMC3 tutorial.
For the moviments i use one motor for the roll and one motor for the pitch. Now i pubblic the photo with some construction step.

Thanks for posting the photos @tailele :thumbs

They are interesting looking gearboxes, where did you find them and what was their cost?

i hope that this discussion could gives some points or ideas to construct a dynamic system. Then i hope that some kindless persons could give me some traces to resolve a little software problem that actualli i have.
    I explain the problem:
When i launch smc3utils all go fine, i move without problem the two motors ( even if i have to calibrate very well the motors'force and other parameters).
But when i launch simtools and i try to moove the motors, it fail. I have read all the discussion; infact i have set the arduino port for example the com port, the velocity, the comunication bits and everyone that i can found. The same step for the simtools where i have done the suggest in smc3 discussion....are there other parameters? thanks a lot

Can you please post screen shots of all your settings, that helps enormously with trouble shooting.

if i understood right sim works fine with SMC3 Utils , you have configured interface settings in game engine

and when you try to move it with simtools you don't have any movements.
are you using output testing or a game?
if you are using output testing you have to create a profile(the default) save it and then use output testing mode.

as @noorbeast said post some screen shots of settings @Pit has a eagle eye and will find it in no time

Ok... So i must set bit per sec to 500000 .. But my com 4 doesn 't have this speed. And output bit range to 10... This i think is correct..

I assume (only) SMC3 works fine?

PS: you cannot use SMC3 and SimTools at the same time
