    Greetings ,
We are a group of 4 engineers from Egypt.
We are building a 6 DOF flight sim rig based on HAWX as the sim game.
we managed to get the yaw and pitch via UDP using X-Plane and get it sent to our micro controller.
but unfortunately X-Plane is more of a sim than it is a game .
So we need to find a plugin or mod for HAWX that sends yaw and pitch data either over UDP or serial communication ,
so that we can receive this info on our simulation rig and adjust rotation angels accordingly.
All feedback is highly appreciated, we really need this plugin or Mod if we are to continue our project
    and thanks to you al

You have come to the right place. If you read the FAQ's I'm think you would be able to get simtools working with your rig but not sure as you havn't posted any details about your setup.

We don't have a plugin for Hawx. However we have plugins for a lot of other flight simulations.
    Have a look here:
    SimTools Plugins
Maybe there's a arcade style simulation for you too

May we ask why a group of engineers is interested in building a 6dof rig based on Hawx and what your intentions are for this project in the future if you succeed?

Well the reason for such a project is quite obvious. All mega corporations are investing in VR. All startups are pushing towards it too. We have great ideas that if we manage to creat this sim rig would add greatly to VR business. Also VR entertainment has always been a very profitable kind of business and we want to build a company based on providing this kind of service.

Where there is a commercial intent, even in the case of a DIY prototype, the proper place for that thread is in the Commercial Simulators and Prototypes section and I will ask that the site administrator @RaceRay move this thread there: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/commercial-simulators-and-prototypes.52/

As per the Commercial Simulators and Prototypes section: "Any commercial affiliation, interest or intent must be disclosed, including as they pertain to DIY prototypes, and to protect all parties it is a requirement that any posting must be in the Commercial Simulators and Prototypes section. Commercial advertising is not allowed".

Please read on from here for a background understanding of the discussions that have led to a clear separation between DIY non-commercial and other commercial related simulators and prototypes: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...or-home-use-motion-sim.6776/page-3#post-81042
