    I used to add springs but they are no needed anymore. I advise you not to use them neither.
    In fact if your structure is well balanced, they are useless.

    I tested the two alternatives : move only the chair or move the whole.
    As far as I'm concerned, I REALLY prefer when the entire cockpit is moving. This observation is true as in triple screen configuration as with the oculus.
    I have been reproached not to feel "small" effects. But it is not true because they are simulated by the platform as well as with the four buttkickers installed at the ends of the frame.

    When the engine is off and you have to switch on the ignition before you press the power button engine, the seat starts to feel the rhythm of the engine vombrissement. When I put two wheels off the track in the grass or gravel, and the frame will vibrate or jump by the speed at which all this takes place. When in contact with a vehicle in front, behind or on the side ...

    Hi Erwan960,

    I wanted to say that your build is exceptional, quality of workmanship and attention to detail is remarkable.

    I'm tossing up whether to build just a seat mover or cockpit mover like yours. Please excuse my ignorance if you've already mentioned this previously in your thread, but I couldn't seem to find the answer. Out of curiosity, would you mind telling me approximately how heavy your cockpit is including the seat, wheel etc. My cockpit will weigh approximately 55 kg's after seat, wheel etc and I was wanting to get a gauge of whether it would be viable to create a a cockpit mover with such a heavy starting point?
