It was my youngest son that wanted a Supra for his first car. My response was that I am a liberal parent but the short answer is no, but I would be willing if he met 3 criteria.

The first was learn to drive properly and he did the required Australia 100 learner driver hours in the Supra and has been eligible to do his license for 5 years but has not yet bothered.

The second was learn to look after it. He helped out a bit in detailing it for his prom, but that was about it.

The last was to budget to run it and so far uni has taken precedence as he has done a dual degree and is currently working on his Masters.

So thus far it is still 'daddy's car' and he will get it once those criteria are met.

The deal also meant I got to choose the actual car. Hence it is non turbo and is completely stock other other than suspension work (lowered coil overs) and wheels. It had 80K when purchased and still only has 120K on it.

    These are from Mat's prom:

well its a big yard anyways, the garage was only big enough for my favorite supra lol. Now the Subaru takes its place in the garage until its ready. And yea I have way to many, basically selling everything except my dads truck and my new ford truck, then I will be looking to get me a 98 Toyota Aristo with a twin turbo 2jz and build that for a fun daily driver. Supra's will always be my favorite car but around where I live it catches alot of heat from the cops just from the looks alone, so im hoping the aristo will be a nice in between haha.

I have a WRX STI Spec R (it is not stock :)). Advice - if you are ever going to track the car get the STI, - strong six speed box, front/ back limited slip diffs and Brembo Brakes. Mine also came with Recaro Seats - Worth it. If not, just get it check out by someone who knows Subaru.

Yeah i´m just coming home from driving my TT, had problems with turbo-leakage but now its mostly solved and he´s going like hell :) But still have some minor problems especially not under full pressure/power, mainly at 2000-3000 rpm you can feel that he´s not constantly and linear on throttle...maybe something to do with my new Forge Pop-Off and had to find the correct spring for it :)

Btw Ville Pesonen, your profile pic reminds me at beavis & butthead LOL (no offense, looks funny hehe :) )
