    Yes, for those who want the plugins and other downloads instantly they can pay for them. The coin packages go only a little way toward supporting this website and the software that we all enjoy.


    Otherwise people can earn coins by participating in the forums. NOT by spamming. Spamming the forums with useless posts like "Cool, good job, I like it," etc every few minutes just clutter up the forum. One could also find themselves banned for spamming the forums. I was very very tempted to do so yesterday as a matter of fact.

    The rant is also factually incorrect, a month access is 29 euros and for legitimate contributors to this forum access is free in exchange for 250 virtual coins...essentially free software of the caliber of SimTools and 29 Euros for non contributors in my view is not abuse. Rather a total lack of respect for terms of conditions of SimTools and this community is what is abusive.

    Hats off to you, as in the circumstances I consider you were very tolerant @Historiker, given multiple members PMed @hellpanzer pointing out the spamming and community expectations, @SeatTime commented on it publicly and there were multiple formal reports of the spamming.

    What really rubs is that multiple members generously donate coins on a regular basis to support the projects of others, which is also covered in the FAQs: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-how-to-get-them-and-how-to-give-them.74/

    I stand corrected on the price, the amount on the outline page is different from the purchase page, notwithstanding please do justify how that is 'abuse' compared to say games, SimVive (89 US), Xsim (60€ for equivalent features), BFF motion software and other simulation related products.
