No, friction wheel slipped too much for me, I ended up using a rear wheel bike cog and bike chain (had already used a separate feedback wheel).

Looks like a nice rig @Simon_lebel.

How comfortable is your Kirkey seat? I ended up using a padded fiberglass seat for my project (Procar Drifter), but maybe it's more than I needed.

@Ben V I have not played in it yet but i'm afraid it will not be comfortable at all... I got this for cheap , i pulled it myself from an old stock car.

I have motion! Not ready for a video, but it moves good. One big problem I'm still trying to figure out. After a while, one of my motor looses it power. I mean it can barely hold position even if the power supply is still going strong. It whines when i ask it to moves. Somebody ever experienced this? I will use an oscilloscope to measure the voltage tomorrow.

20 khz is standard, 5 hkz can make the motor whine.
Whats the JRK utility screen shots of that motor please? PID, motor power mainly.

I will tonight. My motors are getting warm not hot. I can keep my hand on it no problems. I may get my answer with the scope tonight.

OK found my problem. I had a power supply tripped off and the motor was running only on the batterie. I lowered the max amp to the motor for now. the power supply should stay on. My surge table is not working and i'm still searching why. It moves good, but when i'm asking to follow some quick command in jrk utility, the usb device disconnect and then reconnect. Sorry for the slow updates, but i have only a 3-4 hours a week and sometime have to choose between a little race and some test or new wiring, or bass shaker installation.....

Progress is progress...just keep chipping away.

If you post your latest JRK settings member can advise on possible changes. USB disconnects can be related to settings, cables or things like PSUs failing.

I will try to do some screenshot tonight, it's just that the sim is in the garage for now without internet... and my living room computer is dead. Pretty sure the surge axis problem is electrical. When i unplugged the power to it, the usb disconnected ... I will soon be ready to show some vids.
It was two years since my last race, I missed that! AC is incredible! :thumbs

Still no screenshot of the jrk (too lazy i guess) but i did take a small video. Still don't have my surge axis working. At the end, i missed the brake pedal and ended up in the dirt. The very annoying squicky sound is my pedal, need lubrication. The sound is far less in reality, looks like the camera picks up those high pitch sound easily.

    .

    To do list
    -add surge axis
    -add two aura bass shaker
    -add wind simulation
    -add h patern shifter
    -add handbrake
-add some support for the kirkey racing seat. Way too much flex
-add some support or the screen, they move a lot with the drift axis.
    -Wire clean up
    -paint the whole thing
-Change computer and graphic card (already ordered i5 6600k and gtx 970) Can't wait to see how many fps i'll get in triple screen.
    And probably a lot more....

Thanks so much for posting the video, it is great to see your rig in action.

Your to do list will keep you going for a while and by then I am guessing other stuff will be added to it.

I found the surge axis problem! I have a ups battery in parallel with the power input of the jrk and i had one of the terminal on the wrong battery... anyway small mistake but big difference.

Made plenty of the human error mistakes myself, it is easy to do. Glad to see it is now sorted.

Looks to be working great :thumbs. Maybe some lubrication needed to get rid of the mice :).
