I was speaking with someone last night and they recommended attempting 120mm ctc to see how it went with my rear motors

I reprofiled project cars, how do you think it compares to 60mm ctc video I had earlier

At the risk of buying back into being vilified for having an opinion my view, and personal preference, is less axis throw and more movement precision. So for me the latest settings should further restrict sway and have more heave effect. @Nick Moxley's wiggle spring experiments are a good example of what I mean, picking up even fine movement like the ripple strips.

Yeah I agree really. It was just a test to try it out since I was told too, thought I'd share the movement for all to see.

It is a great way to show off those fine movements!

But I just can't help the image forming in my head of @Nick Moxley modding one of the original propeller caps to build it...a creative and useful hack if ever there was one!

Guys, its really hard to "compare" motion between sims. Putting up a vid of Nicks sim is good, but remember, its a seat mover and has less overall mass to have to move.
When its a full frame, like boomz, the movement can look a lot more, especially when it comes to pitch and roll.
I have outlined this before comparing my foot motor to a shoulder mount seat mover and differences in feeling of motion.
the obvious difference is more movement, but I think it looks to be just as reactive, so well done to @Boomslangnz and the help he has got in sorting JRK settings.

EDIT. Unless you want to actually measure the total travelled distance between points on the frame and calculate actual linear speed, (dont go there...really) , just accept that booms is on the right track.

Been awhile since ive updated this so ill just post a few bits and do some images and vid later

Added a few things to my rig recently, 4 x Aura 50w Bass shakers and a buttkicker running Simvibe which is pretty amazing really, definately adds alot to the overall feel.

Got a Oculus Rift CV1 to use with my projector setup which im enjoying alot, nothing beats the immersive experience you get with VR, i had some crazy feeling last night when I spun out sideways on a course with motion sway throwing me and a truly freightning feeling overcame me lol. Also another time when I rolled and needless to say, I had to take off my cv1 as it felt too real.

Added a clubsport handbrake to my rig, I haven't used this too much except for Dirt Rally so far but I have to say, well worth the money. Drifting has never been more fun

I also have a phone mount on my csw v2 and a tablet mounted to my rig (for projector use) for running telemetry data etc on or maps for pcars etc. Obviously not useful for when using rift

I added springs for seat belt to add a bit of immersion when braking and accelerating ontop of the surge which is a simple effective addon

I haven't done anymore plugins and I won't be doing anymore until Simtools 2.0 is fully released, but more will be done eventually if and when I feel like doing a different game that no one else seems interested in doing plugin for :)

    Think thats all
