I make a 3-axis simulator to fly games. I have not tested. But be tog began to build. My image is now that I'm in a phase in which the motor is to be mounted.I found this page a good page with lots of info. Also found diagram of a 2-axis wire card and an Arduino code that I can use. Thanks a lot everyone. Code I want to use: SMC3 v0.7 for my sim. This page also contains the example wiremap white to the same H-brige 43amps Arduino Uno and I have.I get this for my bird day of my girl frend. I only have three of these H-bridges.And three wiper motors. So I downloaded the wire map preview and read the Arduino code. Both so I did not study my example to my sim is untested and not yet been made.Parts are on my desk.I was not sure it is ok? I'm looking for someone who can check my line card? Before I go further, wants to avoid burn through anything. I got to destroy a good career in electrical components.

Looks good, but I can see wipers not suitable to be able to achieve those angles on that design , You best look at the joyrider frame for that sort of swing

My design frame. Slightly different from the real one. But this should be about.

This design is little bit dangerous for those who want to build it after. This design uses belts and pulleys. 1 Never work here with stress on the machine! 2 Secure the machine so it can not move bumps or something! Danger's finger or hand between pulley! With all its consequences. On my simulator, to cut the strings! So can not put your fingers in there. Pulleys and belts can cut it!

@grooste_lwd , dude, I am not sure what you are trying to do here. For the angles you are suggesting, unless you use 240 motors with levers, you are NOT going to get that sort of angle of lean with a balanced point pivot simulator. Its too much weight and stress for any motor trying to pickup you back up from a big angle. Even then it will probably not happen.
Thats why I suggested the joyrider, its a properly designed and balanced frame to allow those angles. Even in the plans you can just move it with your own weight. To motor it, theres been several ways to do it, not just a pulley system, but because of its design, even a geared 12v 200 watt motor could lift it from its angle.
Really, what you are aiming for will need, either, very powerful 240v motors, or a custom actuator thats very long with a 240v motor, or a frame re-design.

Well, IMHO, I would first start with widening out the base platform. The height of the center post, w/ top platform and the combined weight of occupant, well, tipping over will be a constant situation.
Maybe he's going to anchor it to the floor???????????

Many Thanks for your help. I examine the page and came up with my calculation or strange. Now try to draw the speed of my delay. I try 180 rev / sec divided by 60sec = 3 rev / sec engine. I really want my sim 120 degrees of a circle turns per second. That is really the max speed and angle that I want to achieve. Now I thought next, forgive me if not so: 3 rev / sec divided by 3
    =
    1 rev / sec tie a little too much! want to make 120 degrees / sec. (360/3 = 120) 1 rev / sec divided by 3
    =
    Degrees 120 rev / sec

3 + 3 = 6 x slow max. Otherwise, the wiper motor can no longer cover the distance within a second of 120 grande owm / sec.

I therefore believe that a wiper indeed should never slows down too much. Also takes time to get started. My feeling is that the maximum movement in my sim made in seconds with. Assuming that max power is on the wiper motor.

My imaginary little table to date is as follows:

think a 120 degree rev / sec max 5-6 slows with wiper motor

think a 240 degree rev / sec max 4-5 slows with wiper motor

think a 360 rev / sec max 3-4 slows with wiper mot0r in a game chair is going extremely well, I think :). However, it will never be a wiper motor whole construction, can initiate per second in order that the weight of the SIM card then needs to be seen as a mass. More flywheel power. The power of the moment. Do not know how you call it?

I've made in my design ballast. This ballast must be weight against the person and construction as standing up askew. The weight of the imbalance. Get my motors might also be less tax. And state building better automatic right without one.

Actually, my calculation is different. Pulley rotates 180 degrees rev / sec. Max moving away. So was delayed 5 x wiper do have the right speed for my sim. And balance is the right strength. But reaction speed remains a question? This I try with my sim as wiper motors powerful and fast enough for my design? If not so I will definitely test bigger engines.

No. We use curbs in Netherlands. this I wanted to create fast to my frame or impose with support. Are very heavy 50KG per piece and cast concrete.

Theres been discussion of a 360 deg sim, @dontcarefilmer was at one stage getting something organised, and I suspect @noorbeast has a link to that discussion of 360 deg

    Google Translate -
Sorry but I can not write English. Actually not good Dutch, but it solves largely on PC. I pick up Dutch and I :(. Tap All in me is almost Dutch Dutch on this page as I choose. I thought if I'm English choose whole page english :(. Sorry everyone for my language. I would like everyone my sim show. And I hope that everyone understands my story anyway. If I find something to scheiven english reasonable way of working, I do know. So my exuses to everyone.

By all means post in your native language, but please do also include an English translation via Google Translate. It saves other members time trying to work out who may need help and who is just posting a comment.

We have bi-lingual speakers from many different language group so if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

Here my smc universal controller box. Easy to upgrade thanks to plugs. Comes another cooling. And works with Thrustmaster pots :). I test now with 3 cordless drill motor on one volt 3 amp. And works perfectly! Thanks everyone!
