    I drive a Mazda MX-5 mk 3, also called a Miata
    Me & next door.JPG
2 seater, rear wheel drive, convertible
The Mk 3 is over weight and sluggish acceleration, but has really good balance and feel.
On the occasional sunny day in the UK, roof down, around twisty country lanes, it points and drifts in lovely controlled manner.
They are 1.8 and 2 litre, but like a go kart, you sit low down and they feel quick, on narrow UK roads.

For work and groceries I drive a Ford Edge (its got a gas card and holds my tools). To enjoy life I drive an Exomotive Exocet kit car based off Miata with real carbon fiber body.

Did you drive the Miata before it was a kit car ?
I don't know this kit car, but obviously lighter. Is it a lot better / different feel to drive ?
    standard suspension & engine ?

Yes I owned this Miata, drove & raced it. The kit removes original Miata body replaces with a tubed body/chassis is 3 times stiffer around 900 lbs. Lighter. Its amazing now gets mistaken for Aerial Atom, X-Bow but still Miata friendly on maintanence & parts. Google Carbon Fiber Exocet my car is usually what comes up parked in the grass with a bright orange gauge pod.

    My car is a Porsche 928 S4 from 1987.
Which may explain why my simulator rig has a porsche 928 seat mounted in it! Don't worry it's not the one from my car, it's an ebay one from someone elses car!

I would also like to see pics of the Factory Five, almost pulled the trigger on a kit in 2001, but the wife said the 5.0 convertible would have to go. With my son age 7, maybe I can sell as a father son project in the future.

Some race classes require the dash/crash pad to be installed. The original one in the car had a massive crack down the center so we filled it with bog, including vent holes and other crevices. Then just sticker bombed it. I'm not really sure why I chose to keep the 180 gauges, maybe just ease of installation with the original wiring loom.

I have a 89 Subaru liberty (legacy) wagon I have rebuilt and modified quite extensively, seattime is spot on with upgrading gearbox as the stock items are very weak and if you lean turn hard it Will break.. But having the asymmetric chassis and boxer and all wheel drive and about 300hp should having you smiling all the way to shop:)
