PSU 12V 30 Ampere for my 2x Motor DC 12V, am I wrong to buy?

    in tutorial DIY from racingmat are PSU 47 Ampere.
    after being electric shops , I have forgotten how many amperes PSU should I buy?
    I choose the one that is 30 amperes.
    Is my pair of 12V DC motor can run smoothly?? mine: Arduino, Motomonster, 2 Motor wiper DC 12V.

    Depending on how aggressive your settings are 30amps might be OK.
    30 amps is considered low though.
    BUT I think a 40 to 50+ amp psu is what everyone in here will suggest.

    In this case the more is always better.

    Certainly it depends also on how big the motors are. I'm running a pair of 180W motors (a pretty typical size), which max out at 23A EACH. I'm using a pair of 47A server power supplies, so 94A total. That should give me plenty of margin to absorb big peaks when the motors reverse direction, with everything at full power if I chose to drive the motors all out.

    A single 30A supply might work, but you might also have it shut down sometimes. Most power supplies (hopefully yours also) will turn themselves off if they overheat or you pull too much current.

    Be extra careful when moding psus either parallel for more amps or in series for more volts.

    When connecting in parallel configuration remember that there is a share pin that you have to connect in either psu so that the output load is balanced.

    When connecting in series never isolate ac ground. By doing so you risk your life. Only isolate DC ground on one of the two psus. And keep in mind that the PSU components were never designed to work on 24 volts.

    yes, you can use a 30A PSU per motor
    2x PSU for x2 motors is fine.

    With one 47A PSU for 2 motors, it was good for average profile (and sometime too weak for agressive profile)

    But I wouldn't advice one 30A for 2 motors
