By the way @value1! If you need a copy of Horizons, I'm sure I (or we?!?) could gift you a copy through steam as an Xmas present for all your hard work!
Just message me your ID on there. For anyone interested, I'm "corporatezombie" on steam too.

This isn't just because motion doesn't work for me on my 32 or 64 bit horizons version of the game... OK it is!

That's very kind of you, @Corporatezombie!
Not surprisingly though I already have the Horizon version and am working on a plugin. Battling with reading 64-bit memory (Elite) with a 32-bit program (SimTools) currently.

I tried downloading a separate copy of the base game from steam without horizons, but it's still tricky to get the launcher to run the 32 bit game. I had to rename the elite 64 bit folder. but even then I didn't get motion
Did I do something wrong? Or did they update it again?

Not getting any motion on the latest Steam 32bit version. SimTools sees that the game is running, but does not provide any motion. other games work fine. Is there another update required? Also, is there a specific directory we need to "patch" for this to work? I am assuming that there is no patching necessary if this is doing memory hooking. Any input would be appreciated!

I'd like to try my hand at helping make a game plugin, even for Elite, but if @value1 finds it tricky, not sure it's worth trying! :)

Hey, is that X-sim 3 Extractor useful for us over in the SimTools camp?

so just checking in did ED break the plugin again? I have the newest plugin installed and cant get motion to work. i patched it in both the steam install dir and the frontier dir trying both the frontier install from thier website as well as the steam install both in 32bit. for both i get the Game connected status in game manager however no motion is output into the tuning center. am i missing something?

I think @value1 most probably given up with this game and I wouldn't blame him, every update breaks the plugins and now with all the different versions must be a right royal pain in the backside.

Frontier need to release telemetry output however that aint ever gonna happen anytime soon.

We i'll be, you have the audacity to have a real life ;)

Seriously good on you for having your priorities in life set where they belong.

We all have to be grateful for the time you take from family and work to create so many motion plugins.

My plan to get around this is to use a Fanatec F1 wheel since it has an analog stick and a directional stick on the wheel :) (I just got mine converted to USB so I can give it a shot). Would be really great if Frontier responded to our pleas for motion data... That is if they are even listening!
