@noorbeast Having a look at the price, there is something wrong with that,
    Sub-Total:$817.27
    Shipping:$110.00
    Tax:$0.00
    Total:$927.27
Shouldn't it have been $880 sub total if it was to include GST?
Perhaps we have to pay that later?
    Doesn't bode well.

As much as I want to jump on the band wagon, I'll wait for now. Between the VR prices and that I don't really game much between April-Oct. I spend most of that time at my lake house and don't feel safe leaving $2k+ in pc stuff there. I'll wait until at least next fall. Hopefully that will be enough time for the reviews.

Good luck to all those who pre-order this and or the Rift....I'm going to be real jealous of you! Have fun!

    I'm disappointed. Not 799$ but 899€. Plus 75€ shipping
So it's 745€ for the CV1 Vs 974€ for the Vive

Really wanted to get this as well as the oculus..Im not sold on the Fresnel lenses they are using and Im not a fan of the shape of the control. For a seated simulation part of me also thinks that the oculus camera tech is better suited for tracking.

Well that was painless cancelled it, not paying $1500, thats just barking. Getting close to a top end computer build cost. I really think Australia is taken for a ride by these companies.

Those are high shipping fees especially compared to the quote I got to ship a 1 cubic meter 216kg pallet from Shanghai to Central USA, $143 dollars. I might have to wait a little longer to receive it after it ships though.

It is unfortunate @BlazinH but we Aussies frequently get slugged with the regional based charges.

That does not mean you can't get cheap shipping out of Asia, rather it is something the big corporates do when imposing shipping fees.

Same happens with software charges, games and a bunch of other stuff here :(

The Vives are shipping, but I am guessing that is not where the one in the video came from.
