    Hello
Here is a small modification of a handbrake buy commercially (aliexpress) to make it work on our simulator with a single touch so it will be on/off and later I will replace a potentiometer.

    The original lever.

The finished lever apart, there is a stop in the front, initially it was at the back of the extension of the rod or springs is located, but the problem has Originally there game the axes of the handle, so it has to overcome the set made of the front always gives a push on the lever of each dimension (spring and stop)

To change this will be a simple potentiometer is rotated, the hydraulic part I keep it for future pedalboard.

    Nice project.

    May I ask a question?

Why didn't you just modify it with a press sensor?( I just saw that you will be keeping the hydraulic part for your pedals).

Will you be using a linear potentiometer or a logarithmic one?

A simple potentiometer rotation is enough for me for the parking brake, the sensations are more complex search and realize on a pedalboard I think.
