Have to buy plugins now?

Its been a while since Ive been on here, but Ive just got my Simcon2 from Frex. Ive hooked it all up and came here to get the Project Cars plugin I guess I need but see we have to buy a subscription now in order to download the plugins? Its the only game I play and to spend 20 Euros for one plugin is kind of steep. I obviously dont post enough to gain enough coins that way unless I just go through the threads and make a bunch of irrelevant posts. Any way some one could loan me enough coins so I can get the one plugin I need please? Pretty broke for a couple of weeks and would sure like to try Project Cars again with some motion.

Also, is there a way to test that I have everything configured correctly without a game plug in? Would at least like to fiddle around with the settings to see what they do to become accustomed to it.

you can use live for speed as the plugin comes with Simtools and there is a demo if you dont own the game and also once you install and setup Simtools you can load game engine and use the output testing tab

Well, installed Frexs Simcon2 as I stated, went through the instructions and his AxiSel zip file site is 404 (imagine that), so I searched on here and found it, downloaded it and ran the exe only to keep getting the error of a "failed in communication on current setting". Not sure where to go now. Com5 and Com6 are correct and everything. Shot an email off to Shige, but that may take 2 weeks to hear back from him. Grrrr.
