    hello guys..I found this motor for sale

    http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB- ... -polos-_JM

    Would it work fine with Thans H-Bridge and AVR controller?
    Any problems that I should address the PCB maker or go for another motor?

    No, This motor is AC and works with high voltage 110V/220V. It requires special VFD driver controller to drive it like servo motor (really expensive!) :tape:

    You can use only small DC motors with DSMhb1.2b (No more than 24V or 25A current).

    thanks for your help man
    What would be the choice if I used that motor? I am afraid that a 24vdc motor wont be enough for my layout.
    I also saw there were other requirements on the motor such as position feedback, different speed. I am worried to spend money with the wrong motor. H-Bridge is already ordered but I would consider another option if I could use a strong motor.

    thanks

    Could you describe your layout more, so we can estimate if wiper motors fit or not?
    Maybe a sketch?

    thanks for the answer
    please check my layout attached. I am building it in aluminum to keep it lighter. The base support is based on cska system (update - CHANGED TO MORE OF A FREX KINDA OF SYSTEM).
    I will be glad to hear any thought about it.

    thanks

    thanks man, i saw this post a little while ago but couldnt find again, certainly there are a lot of good information there for me as my setup is similar. .. I was just thinking about substituting some of the gearings for pulleys and steel cables similar to Thanos cockpit... I have got the aluminum bars and they are very light... in the next 2 days the cockpit part should be ready...

    waiting for my pcb boards to get here...I hired someone to do it for me...out of my league to build them... just hope there are no problems when they arrive... they said they would test it, and it should be almost 'plug and play'.. lets hope so...I will post some pics when they arrive..

    ahh btw.. we have to import all the components so it should take a couple of extra weeks...in the meantime I am working on the structure and motor to use.
    Aloha

    I just bought two wiper motors 24V for scania trucks on the website above that I posted earlier. I will do some tests when they arrive and I will post a video/photos. I am changing my layout similar to youbuddy´s layout (yobuddys-motion-simulator-t625.html), if worked for him it will work for me.

    I am just worried with the PCBs now.

    If I have problems when they arrive, can I use a Basic Stamp2 and 2xHB-25 with the 24V motors? at least to get them working before I find someone else to build new boards for me?

    thanks for the previous post about the batterres.
    Below a few pics from my Motor that just arrived
    I would like to make a newbee question... the plug in the motor is for power, correct? What are the cables that go to the H-bridge?

    some pics of my aluminum layout...it is very easy to work with aluminum... and it is very strong...on monday I will work on some improvements and I will install the universal joint on the seat...
    I am still waiting for my boards...we had to import some coomponents..so it should take some extra week to get it done..

    I am thinking now about buying the power supply below
    switched-mode power supply:
    * Manual Selection (127/220VAC)
    * Manual selection 350W 24V
    * Maximum current de 8A
    * 3 conectos for distribution

    https://www.mercadodopovo.com.br/loja/p ... 01W_24V_8A

    I know my motor is a 24Vdc and max 9A. Can I use switched-mode power supply ?? like the one above? Any recommendation for power supply???

    I am also done with my universal joint below

    Regards
