Hi, I finally found a solution for setting up my cockpit.
My main requirements should be: modular, lightweight & easy install/uninstall.

Alu was my first option: but where I live only few people do alu welding....very expensive + I cannot find the right measures for my profiles.
Then I thought about iron: it is cheaper than steel, but it it too heavy.
So only the alu profiles solution was left (like the Frex-solution ones)...I just did not like the look of them.
Fortunatly, i was able to find a company that deliver similar profiles Montagesystem Stex 35). What I really like from them is:
-they seem very easy to be mounted: like a lego
-they have lots of holes, which make them less heavy
-if you look at the profile it only has 3 sides ... the 4th side is open (it is here where you can even place a sliding guide to let your pedals or seat slide)
    -....
For whom is interested in it: http://www.mefa.de/de/products/catalog/index.htm

Now, what I need is the installation guide of the FREX-solution. I have a picture of only half of it. For me it is very important since it has all the different elements needed: profile types + bolts + angles + knobs + nuts + ...
I would really appreciate if someone that has it could scan it and send it to me.

This community does not condone the sharing of copyrighted work such as the Frex installation guide. We have a community project tutorial that will list fo you most of the necessary hardware. There are also many forum posts discussing where to purchase the needed hardware in various countries.

Please consider adding to this design the improved actuator angles discussed many places in these forums. At the time of Mr. Burns writting, he was not aware of the many improvments possible by altering the actuator angles.

Hi bvillersjr! Sorry for that, it was not my intention to copy Frex´s sim. Actually I have my own design in mind (similar to skaudt69´s sim). Thx anyway.
