    Great to see you got it moving :thumbs

    It appears as though the motor mount and base are flexing, which will mask some of the motion cues. Adding some rigidity would help.

    Deadzone This creates a hysteresis zone for the motor feedback If you need values greater than 1, you probably have too much “slack” in your mechanical setup.

    So in a sense yes, a dead zone will cause some delay, as its purpose is to filter signals so that the output reacts less rapidly than it otherwise would by taking recent system history into account.

    problem solved !!
    my concern is due to a bad frequency setting of smc3Utils once passed to 5khz the speed variation has started to work correctly, I still have some overshoots on my tracking line, check if I can adjust this with the other parameters.

    or M2 800 (800 has 0 being the position of my axis)

    Je me rends compte que mon message précédent n'est pas du tout précis.
    ici, je crée un tendeur de courroie inspiré du tension-R de pt-actuator.
    après plusieurs ajustements et modifications, le système fonctionne plutôt bien (2 moteurs pas à pas nema 23 2.4Nm, 2 contrôleurs tb6600, un arduino nano).
    le code fonctionne avec tendeur simhub mais il ne me convient pas (je préfère des simtools beaucoup plus précis et souples).
    J'ai créé un code hier pour récupérer sur le moniteur le retour de simtools (moteur de jeu) et je pense avoir trouvé mon erreur.
    Exemple d'envoi de simtool :
    {M1<Axe4a> Je reçois M1##}
    le ## étant la valeur 8 bits d'Axis4a entre 0 et 1023
    J'ai besoin de modifier le code pour lire correctement cette valeur 8 bits.
    c'est là que je suis bloqué, je ne vois pas comment traduire cette valeur de 8 bits en décimal pour obtenir 0 à 1023.

    J'espère le mettre bien expliqué.

    yes the noise you hear in the background is that of the nema motors, I am working on it to reduce the noise (the box is completely open).
