    Hi everyone,
I have a problem on my simulator with electric actuators:

everything is configured perfectly, the motion works, but I need to eliminate an annoying oscillation of my simulator.
When I'm out of the game, the actuators vibrate and wobble.
I've noticed that the problem occurs even when I'm not using Simtools (Game Engine and Game Manager closed, not started).
I thought of a "possible" solution, that is to place the actuators in the lowest position, so perhaps the oscillations would be less or eliminated.
    I'm using Simtools V2.0 with SMC3 V1.7 (softstart).
To lower the platform to the lowest position, I tried to enter the string [A<50>][B<50>] in "Interface Settings - Shutdown Output", so that the platform is positioned at the bottom when I exit the Game, but the platform remains at the center.
    Maybe the string is wrong?
Give me an answer, if the string is wrong, if there is another remedy to avoid the vibrations.

    NOTE
I've already tried to change the PID values, I've checked the potentiometers. I'm using Arduino, and what you see in the image is the data I entered. The problem arises as soon as I insert the USB cables, even without using SMC3Utils and also without using Simtools, so it's the SMC3.ino code that activates the motors. Is there a way to activate the engines only when starting a game?

    Thank you

Hi noorbeast, I had already seen this link but didn't find the answers to my problem.
I've seen many images that even showed strings completely different from mine, i.e. I used the string [A<50>][B<50>], instead in some screenshots I found strings like <255> (although set for Serial) .
There are some differences between my "Serial" setup and other "Serial" setups.
From the link you gave me, I didn't find answers to my problem in "Serial". I did the only very few tests by inserting the string [A<50>][B<50>], but it doesn't work, the platform is always in the center when I exit the game.
Then this string is incorrect or there is another problem.
But I repeat: I have not found any solution other than the one already used.

    Any other advice?
Did I make a mistake inserting the string [A<50>][B<50>] ?

I can't comment for your hardware, as I use JRKs and with JRKs 221 is the on command for Position, 63 tells it where to go and 225 turns it off.

Ok so who can I contact?
I have this annoying problem that I need to fix.
My hardware is with Arduino and IBT-2.

I tried looking for an explanation document, a code table, but didn't find anything.
    Who can I ask to?
Do you advise me to address this help in another section of this Forum?

The thing I'm sorry about is that I paid for the Simtools license, but I can't find the solution or documents explaining how to do it. We only talk about JRK, Arduino no code, no post where you write how to do it.

sorry, is there a table of motor on and off values for Arduino hardware?
In the forum there are numbers for jrk hardware.
    but nothing for arduino??

    Do I urgently need answers?
    who can I write to?
in which section can I write? (here, besides noorbeast, no one answers)...

Is there anyone who can help me with the arduino commands?

Serial output startup and shutdown setting are covered p.48 onward of the SimTools manual: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/
