    Hi All,
My seat mover with traction loss has just decided to misbehave. No matter what I try i can only get axis 1a to work. All 3 SCN5s work with x-sim and I am out of ideas. Hopefully someone can help.....please......
Nothing has changed except my PC is showing the scn5s on port 9,10,11. I tried reseting the ports but they didn't comply...

Hi, many thanks for the reply. I figured it out.....

I fixed it by changing the com port numbers from double digit to single digit. I am not sure if its a limitation of the software or the hardware but it worked for me.....

My FTDI USB Serial Converters were on port 9,10,11,12.
    1. I went to Device manager,
    2.View Hidden Devices,
    3. and then on each port I selected......Ports.......Port Settings........Advanced.....
    4. I changed the other device ports to 20,21,22 and so on....
    5. and changed the Port numbers of the FTDIs to 1,2,3,4.
    6. I then changed the other device ports to 5,6,7, and so on,,,,
    7. Restarted and it now works.....
