DIY FFB wheel base

    Hello all!

    I am currently trying to build my own FFB wheel base. The wheel base I was going for is belt-driven, maybe there is a chance to upgrade to dd in the future. For now it would make me more than happy to complete the belt-driven base.
    Maybe some of you can help me out with the questions that came to my mind.

    The hardware I am planning to use is the following:
    DC motor: MY6812 24V 150W
    Motor Driver: Cytron MD30C
    Controller: STM32F407VET6
    Firmware: EMC

    Now my question is, what PSU I should go for?
    I read, that the stall current will be really high if ffb is on 100%. What specs should it have?

    Would it be better to put two motor drivers in parallel to reduce the current between a single driver and the dc motor?

    2DOF, 3DOF, DC motor, Arduino
    Hi, I use the same motor and BTS7960 for the driver.
    Using a cheap switching PSU 24v 20A, and put 100% in EMC software but 60% on each game.
    it never stall. but if you want a better result, you can search for a MEAN WELL Switching Power Supply.
    its a known brand

    Thank you for your response. I hope to get it done in the near future so that I can finally use my rim that I already finished.

    What is the gear ratio of your build and what torque do you get out of it?
    My idea was a ratio of at least 1:10.

    I use a 110 : 15 pulley. don't know what torque it made, but its enough.
    just remember, higher the ratio it will be more torque but slower on speed. and vice versa
