I installed FSX steam from the plugin manager but will not allow me to drop the FSX shortcut or EXE.

Maybe you are running simtools v3 as admin?
It needs to run normally for it to work is all.

I'm guessing you mean to start a game?
There is no way for SimTools to know what game to launch, so I think it's good as a 'all stop' button.
I have a few ideas for a remote profiler for v3, but I have not had a lot of time to play with the ideas yet.

No, I mean to stop motion in the middle of the game using a buttonbox button to stop the motion directly.

Can't you configure your button box to simulate a keyboard button press when you press a button?

I have a couple of ideas that are being tested at the moment. (test apps)
But they are not tied to SimTools or anything.
I have good feedback so far, but waiting on a few more tests, before I move forward with anything.

    Hi deeph46,
I managed to resolve my problem everything works correctly :)
for this I must have CM already activated before launching Assetto Corsa in simtools V3.

    hey,

I have problems with simtools V3.

how does crash detection work? my motion rig goes completely crazy when I fly down the slope at EA WRC. or have I misunderstood this function?

    Greetings Peln

Drag-Drop the exe or shortcut (to launch in vr mode) on the games banner to set the launch path.

Crash detection detects a crash, and causes the sim to either stop, or go slow-mo until the crash is over.
Try setting surge to Max, and set the value for double what you use in the motion tuning center.
(meaning you won't hit this number unless you hit something, like drive into a wall.)
Now when you hit a wall, your sim does no go crazy, and can feel like you running into pillows if you so choose.

First of all, thank you for that yobuddy!
okay, now my whole setup is garbage. Would someone take the trouble to explain to me how to correctly set the axes and the min/max in the V3? I only jump out of the seat because I have min/max capture on, save the input and then my axes overdo it and are set way too hard. profile intensity is at 64 and my axis assignments are about 10%
