I am making belt driven ffb steering wheel and need a power supply and I get a computer power supply with 500w as I think my dc motor MY1016(24v 350w) should consumer near 30amp at 12v when stall(as discuss in other forum) and I want to know if I can modify psu to deliver all it power(watt) to 12v only rather than dividing in 3.3v, 5v etc.
as on psu label it is written that 12v 15amp, 5v 15amp etc. look like these amp are divided

if yes, than how any references or tutorial
and please correct me if I am wrong about my1016 motor stall power consuming calculation.

    thank you.

So all ampere will be given to 12v, will this work for my1016 dc motor.
I assume that motor will consume near 350w/12v = 30amp(is this correct way).

    Thank you
