I have a SFX150 with a thanos amc running simtools

So i decided to move my rig slightly so i could clean it. It was running perfect

Now in iracing the actuators seme like they have low power, running very slow. I moved the emegency stop and the actuators stuttered so i opened up the emergency stop and there was a wire off from somewhere.

I took the 3 wires out of the thanos amc and its saying the emergency stop is on. so i bridged the 2 wires and the actuators came alive again but still very very slow.

Im mechanically minded but just dont know where to start. When I test the motion in simtools, all axis works perfect. It just seems to be from the controller to the sim.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys

Why don't you restore defaults on the Thanos controller, just in case, using the combination: "hold exit button, and press release the reset button"

Also check to see if you need to update the firmware as well.. doesn't make sense to have slowdown, unless it doesn't enter on-line mode... does the screen turn green color when connected to the motion software?

I would be too terrified to factory reset it!!!
I was wanting to get rid of the E stop as the wiring in it was a bit dodgy looking. I bought it all assembled and setup.
The controller wasn't saying P on all 4 actuators. It had ! marks. I don't think the screen changes colour.
I was using it today and seems to be working now. All i done was looped a wire from 2 or the pins where the e sop connects to the thanos. the yellow wire on its own is not attached to anything. I changed the filter to 2. I think 0 is no filter and I usually had it set to 3.

Now you have made me think. I turned it off at the plug socket not realising my simtools was running on my pc and the actuators dropped instantly in a violent way. Can the spike filter stay on? Or can this damage things?

I do feel the speed of the motors is slightly slower than it used to be.

    thanks for the reply
