    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, 3DOF, DC motor, Arduino
    Hi ,
Am willing to use 2 Arduino for my 3 DOF (3 motors) ,2 for Pitch and roll and am willing to use 3rd motor for traction loss ,because the 3rd motor is not handle by the one Arduino as the 1st 2 motors so Am thinking by using 2nd Arduino for 3rd motor or even use 4th motor to get heave ,maybe ,so how to set 2 Arduino for work together did I need 3rd Arduino or just using USB hub which might ( AFFECT THE SPEED OF RESPONSE) of the Arduino ,does any body did that please to help me with setting please ,
thank you in advance for whole members and this community help

    yours
    Ayad

A hub is not really necessary and sometimes even complicates the fact that internally computers often share USB controllers: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-usb-issues-can-cause-crashes.313/

In SimTools for multiple Arduino the Interface Settings need to assign the correct port for each Arduino, and you assign the axis for each Arduino, so for the first [A<Axis1a>][B<Axis2a>] and for the second Arduino, presuming you may want to use 4 axis, [C<Axis3a>][D<Axis4a>]

thank you for your answer ,so for axis c and axis d for second Arduino how can set the axis for traction loss and for Heave ,I suppose it will read as roll and pitch as the first Arduino ,or not ,,
    with best regards
    yours Ayad

If the actual design of your rig is 2DOF + traction loss I expect you would set heave, roll, pitch and sway on the first Arduino and a dedicated traction loss (Extra1) axis on the second Arduino.

Using a USB hub can sometimes complicate or add an extra layer between the computer and connected devices, which may not be needed.
