    Hi,
Do you know whether simtools (and the plugins) version also works with the native, i.e. non-Steam version of Elite Dangerous?

Just wanted to let you know that I had a heart attack at the beginning of May and as a result, I underwent 6 bypass surgeries. So new pointers is not a priority for me at the moment. But ill do them When I feel better.

Hi all, new here via Jeff weavers post on SRS forum. From that post he says you replace the ED XML with the latest pointer file which I've done but still get no motion after updating ED. IS there something I'm missing? - apologise for the noob question

Just be sure that you have the latest XML, second line inside it should start as : <!-- 2024 Aug 07 -->
Simtools on my end have data, but can't tell for SRS. Could be SRS related.

Hi Wagnard! Thank you for all you do!

There appears to be an issue with the latest points specifically for Roll. When first launching to Elite Dangerous, the points provide the following value for Roll causing motion platforms to roll extreme to the left.

    Roll:
    upload_2024-8-22_8-57-28.png

The value will normalize to 0 once you start moving in the game to generate telemetry. However, any time telemetry completely stops from coming to a complete stop in the game in your ship/srv, or when you are in the menus for a more than 10 seconds or so, the point value for Roll appears again as seen here:
    upload_2024-8-22_8-59-17.png

Moving the ship slightly in game will return the value to 0 again.

I'm not sure what would cause this, but it appears under those circumstances.

I'm using Sim Racing Studio version 2.33.0.21 and the results above are from its telemetry export function found in GAMES > Telemetry by selecting Export. You can also view the telemetry in realtime and see the roll value above as well.

Hopefully its an easy fix/find and thanks again!

Also, do you have a link to any guide/tutorial so I can potentially help find these as well?

Nothing I can do about for the pointers, they just gave these values, but with the simtools plugin I added some logics in the plugin to avoid this. It's more a pluggin issue than a pointer issue.
Are you using odyssey or pure vanilla elite?

Edit: SRS seems fine on my side. So User configuration error or a possibility that the pointers are not perfect for everyone.
