I purchased a set of these 4 motors and 1 controller and they are installed to my 4080 alumninum frame but I cant seem to get any motion from them other than when I power them on. Ive plugged the motors into their respective 6pin slots as labeled, the lights on the motors turn on. But I cant figure out how to get motion

Now, im not sure what kind of controller it uses, i think it's some sort of Ardunino? but I SMC3util doesnt detect it, or is it a windows 11 problem?

Thats what it shows in the device manager. I've tried different settings in Simtools v3 but haven't got it to work at all. So Im wondering if anyone else has any experience with these? Theyre also sold on ebay and aliexpress but I got them locally from a shop in Shenzhen and im no longer there.

Any ideas to test what kind of controller it is, or any other programs I can test whether it's a hardware problem or software problem? Thank you very much!

I just tried with a win 10 computer, still no luck, anything I can test to see what kind of controller is being used?

Probably no help at all, but I recently got a used motion setup using 4 actuators and some kind of PLC controller with a remote pendant with touch screen controller.
I saw it working on Simtools so i bought it, but when i set it up it just would not cooperate even though I changed nothing.
Anyhow my point is it was recognized in windows as a CH340 device, and I set it up on Simtools v.3 serial interface using the same settings as you have shown and it would move correctly when using the test settings, but I got SFA when I tried using the game testing inteface.
I did not matter what I tried, it just refused to work as it should.
So I gave up in frustration and looked for an alternative, but being a tight arse I could not justify the almost AUD$500 for a Thanos 4U so I cheaped out and went with a SFX-100 controller which cost me about AUD$120 which consisted of an Arduino Leonardo clone and Pyronious Shield.
This has worked a charm with the same hardware using the Simfeedback software, and the only down side so far is the limited games support, but It does most of the popular stuff like Assetto Corsa & Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, iRacing, Dirt Rally 2, Project Cars 2 and some others that I don't use.

I am a Chinese player, and this is the controller I made. It supports SIMTOOLS. If you don't know how to prototype, feel free to contact me.
