Question Rest position - Flight Sim

    I have a question for those who play flight simulator games, especially long-haul flights:

    During extended flights, the cruise phase can become quite long and uneventful. Do you turn off your DOF rig during this time, or leave it running?

    I'm asking because, during cruise, the rig isn't actively moving—it’s just holding the chair in a straight and level position. This still consumes power and causes the IBTs to heat up.

    So, do any of you:

    • Turn off your rig during these phases?
    • Have a system that allows the rig to rest during cruise and resume operation for landing?
