Hi All, get my new rig up and running, super fun! Design it from scratch.

    Here is my rig :)

Currently optimizing the tuning and super happy with the Heave for bumping. The tracking lost also feeling great!

Now I am looking for the optimal setting to feel the G-force when you 'launch' it. I want to feel some pull when I stomp on the gas pedal. I suppose this is around the Surge. When I increase it, I can feel the Break effect really well, and my rig moves forward nicely, but I do not get the opposite effect when I hit the gas, which is supposed to move backward.

    Any suggestions?

    Here are my settings

The larger the Min/Max value the greater the range of motion, but less 'snappy, conversely the smaller the value the snappier the response.

Depending on the rig and personal preference Surge is an axis where manually setting different Min/Max values allows you to fine tune the responses you want for surge forward and back.

How do I fine-tune it so I can optimize for the surge back only?
(I got good enough for the surge forward already)

Manually adjust the values and Save after, tweaking until it meets your personal preference.

Are you saying adjust the Negative number only? and not using the slider?

Essentially yes, as long as it is the negative number affecting the differentiation in the way you want it.

It also pays to temporarily disable all other axis while you tweak, so you can focus specifically on what you want, as SimTools does mix axis on the fly.

swap the direction so it pushes you in the back in acceleration and the wheel and pedals push into you on braking
