With the available Source Code PSgroove and the AT90USB-Microcontroller USB development board it is possible to run uncertified software on the PS3 (firmware 3.41).

I don´t care about the software PS3-Jailbreak to run game copies, but it could be possible to grab memory data of GT5 ;)

It would be awesome if it was possible to read memory data and send it in UDP packets to X-sender... :)
Or we can ask to Poliphony to make GT5 sends UDP packets with telemetry data by default via ethernet port...

Think you mean sending data to the profiler and use a form of x-sender on the PS3 ;) I hope that it is possible to do it.

I would give away my PS3 to Sirnoname if he is willing to give it a try ;D

I asked Sony in the past about a api or similar to obtain access to motion data but no response. Any response had make me wondered :)

I have a good feeling that X-Sim will be the first solution for a PS3 based simulator. Sooner or later more hackers will have access to it, it is just a matter of time.

Hopefully Sony will realize this potential and release something for the public. They know if they don't, it will be broken anyways. :D
