New pc

    As title shows, I have a new pc. With smc3, and simtools v3 installed, licensed, and set up exactly as it is on my old pc.

    but when I got to play a game, I get 2 beeps and no motion.

    if I click “test motion” I get two beeps as well. But the motion will work.

    Have the ports been set for the new computer and does SMC3 run as expected with the Sine Wave test?

    If so, does SimTools Output Testing work as expected?

    It would be helpful if you posted pictures of both of those.

    Make sure that Smart App Control is turned off. Search for that in Settings. That broke mine yesterday. Could be that Microsoft is just screwing with you. For me that process somehow deleted the serial plugin and I had to reinstall that interface.

    There are two places to test the motion. Test from the interfaces screen first.

    DC motor, 6DOF
    Check that the COM ports are correct and SMC3 runs the Sine Wave test. Make sure SimTools Output Testing works too. Screenshots of both tests will help figure out the issue.
