I have a Frex SimConMotion + Base + Damper + AC Adaptor set together with a Frex Cockpit for sale. These are Brand new, never assembled. Save over £1,000 on the cost of importing a new one - for sale at £1550 including carriage within the UK (to mainland addresses).

I would prefer to sell to a UK buyer but a sale to another country is possible but would require confirmed and secure (non retractable) payment being received before goods are released and you would need to arrange the courier collection.

    Any queries please email me.

    Regards
    Iain

£1550 (UK Sterling) = US $2386.61 on today's conversion rate. Doing a straight £/$ conversion rate on the delivery cost (from Japan to the UK) the US$ price for the same kit from Frex is probably near $3500 including delivery, plus of course any import duties or tax.

    Hi LegReg

I intended to use it as is but have since decided to convert my Nixim chassis to a motion seat. Whilst I could use the actuators from this Frex kit I wont be using the Frex electronics so it's much better if I sell the Frex kit complete and then buy just the actuators etc. that I need to convert the Nixim.

Doing this will also please my other half as it will reduce the financial investment in simulator equipment and free up some funds !

    Regards
    Iain

    Hi Andrew (Ringo)

    Thanks for your PM.

interested in the Frex unit - where abouts in London are you based?

I am situated in Hereford, lower Midlands, not London

can you please confirm that it is as is on
    http://www.frex.com/gp/motion/motionpage1.htm

Yes, I can confirm that it is this one. The simulator comprises (a) the SimConMOTION+Base+Damper+AC Adaptor set and (2) the Cockpit.

How much has it been used- does it require seat etc? or is it complete and ready to go?

It's brand new, never been assembled so never used.
It does require a seat but any of the standard racing seats should be Ok (Cobra, Corbeau etc.). I do have a brand new Corbeau seat available, still wrapped, which I can do for a good price if the simulator is collected.
As above it will require a seat, you will also need a steering wheel and pedal set.

Do you have any dimensions for the unit?

I have looked through the Assembly Manual but there are no dimensions given. As it's never been assembled I can't measure it.

Perhaps another X-Sim member with an assembled Frex SimConMOTION simulator and cockpit could give us the dimensions ??
Can anyone advise on this ?

I do have interest from a forum member on another site who has requested photo's. I will get a few taken and ail them over to you as well although there isn't much to see of course as the T-Slot aluminium is wrapped in bundles and all of the electronics, actuators and hardware etc. is all in boxes.

Happy to answer any other queries you might have.

    Regards
    Iain

UPDATE: if this is collected then I will include the brand new Corbeau seat free of charge.
