Hi all , I stared to build a aluminium cockpit (frex like) by using 30x30 aluminium frame (frex like or 80/20 like).
After buying the whole thing I started to thing of upgrading the cockpit with a motion seat (frex like with 2 dof actuators).

I am bit concerned about the section of the alumium profiles (30x30 is it OK or 40x40 as i have seen in other projects is abolutely necessary ?)

any reply on this would be very appreciated

Flexing reduces motion quality. Also, check Bleco's thread. It is not a good idea to use the Frex dimensions IMHO.
