Hi all , I have a question regarding hardware compatibility issues. Maybe someone have seen the same problem.

is there a known issue of actuator (SNC5) stopping in the middle of a game in LFS when possibly a sli-pro is also used. (i am not too sure about the sl-pro yet).

I also use gauges through x-sim

    help is always appreciated

    thanks

actually the loss is total . It happens in general for one actuator only. when I check in the plugin interface , x-sim sees only one actutor. The only thing to do is to reinitialise everything again .

Sounds like a comport conflict had the same issue with Jrks V's Arduino, i just changed the comport the Arduino was using and made sure there was a good amount of ports in between. Hasnt stop any of my jrks since.

    Hello eaorobie

it seems in my case that the issue was solved by changing the timing to 1 1 100 in the interface plugin and by checking the 2 swithes with dtr and rts
(i keep testing and then if that s not solved i ll look into the comport conflict)

    thanks for the info

sorry mate, control panel to find ya devices and then properties to change it.
Looks like ya got back up thou havnt had the money to stuff around with a scn5 as they are nearly $500 dollars once i import them into Australia. Plus Im quite happy with the JRKs, Controller plus motors only $200 in total and I can fix it, if scn5 went down i would have to wait 6 weeks just to get a part.

OK , my problems of actuators not working are fixed and were due to mainly timing settings. Now I see problems were the in game data such as gear , rpm are slowed down in LFS. there is a time of reaction between the in game data seen on the screen and the game data seen on my sli-pro and other gauges such as gear and rpm external gauges.
I have the feeling that timing is also the solution (or maybe not) . any body have experienced this ?
(these kind of behaviour are seen in LFS + sli-Pro+ external gauges)
    any idees? thanks
