need to choose between g27 or fanatec 911 gt3 Rs V2

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, DC motor, JRK, 4DOF
    Now that my g25 is dead i need a new wheel. I found a used g27 and a brand new fanatec porche 911 Rs V2. The price for the G27 is 230$ and has about 20 hours of play on it and the Porche is brand new in a box with the clubsport pedal for 300$. Wich one should i buy?
    I would like to know wich wheel you would choose and why.

    Hi,

    Both wheels are in the same category and offers the same platforms compatibility. Fanatec wheel as a smoother ffb and overall effect feeling. Alcantara leather on the rim is also great... But imo g27 wheel as a better design for racing and a better grip. It also comes with solid sequential paddles and the 6+1 shifter while fanatec only comes with very cheap sequential paddles and no h-gated shifter... Fanatec clubsports pedals are definitely high quality compared to logitech set and comes with a load cell which is a must for me... Logitech wheel is also very common and there are a lot of mods and gadgets available compared to fanatec... Both wheels are OK to start...its up to you to make your decision...

    Thanks, would it be possible to use the h shifter of my g25 with the fanatec? Maybe using the adaptator from Leo Bodnar. My shifter is still fonctionnal in windows , only my g25 wheel is broken, will the game let me use the shifter? How does the pedal compare to the cst? I guess they are in a different ligue but.... I read somewhere that the shifter on the fanatec are a little flimsy, are they really that bad?

    I would love to try the fanatec to have something different from my friends and the pedal kit is really interresting but i know the g27 is a solid bet.

    Your G25 shifter will work as a standalone device in any pc sim with this adapter:

    You can't compare CST pedals with Fanatec Clubsports ... different category range ... But for the price, CSP are good ...

    The fanatec first gen H-Gated shifters set is bad and looks and feels like a toy ... looks like the second gen is better but still very similar products ... But you can't ask for top quality for 49$ for the set ...
