Hello All, I am running Dirt3 boxed version one, and have been doing so for a while with no issues.
My set up is 990 chipset motherboard, AMD 965 quad core, 1000watt psu, 12 gig ram, windows 7 64 bit, and 2 x GTX560ti in sli.
Its been running perfect for ages . Now for some reason, the frame rates drops down to below 30 fps at times. Does not matter what race, conditions or car. I have tried re-installing the game with no success. Yes I did a google search and came up with no conclusive answer. I am up to 209 races, but even if I go back to an old race, same problem. I have done NO updates of the game whatsoever. I even tried disabling SLI, antivirus, even removed a card and ran one vga card, still nothing.
    Got me stuffed.
    Any ideas?

only play offline, no time to play online, constantly being disturbed by kids.
    All other games work fine.....
I may consider a windows re-install, really what I need is a dedicated pc. Fat chance of that happening with my cow of a wife.

What driver version are you using ?

Did you ever tried to overwrite your in game graphic settings with NVIDIA Inspector ? I am getting better results like that ... but I don't play any codemasters series games ...

Thanks Bleco, I use that program and found one of my cards is running a slightly lower voltage than the other. One is 1.012v and the other 1.025v. This is probably part of the problem. I will try to adjust it once I have had enough caffiene.
That and I will try an older vga driver as well.
    Cheers, David.
